[17.12.2000] From ancient times people have noticed interrelation between weather and health of the person. Gippokrat more than two millenia back for the first time have written about influence of cold and hot winds on people, and also about possible(probable) communication(connection) between epidemics reigned at that time, and constantly varying weather conditions. In Middle Ages these ideas developed due to innovations of dealers curative grasses which registered various plants for improvement of state of health during change of weather. But it was only national medicine, and any empirical proofs did not exist, in this connection interest to the given theme was gone for five centuries. Only in one thousand eight hundred seventy seventh, due to efforts of doctor Mitchella, the experiments confirming interrelation of weather conditions and a state of health of people have started to be carried out(spent). It(he) also has written clause(article) " Communication(connection) of a painful syndrome with change of weather conditions " in which has told about supervision above one captain of army of USA, whose leg was amputated after the wound received by him(it). The doctor has noted, that the pain amplified, when atmospheric pressure went down, and the temperature and humidity grew.

Seventy years after in Germany the similar research distinguished in more global sizes which besides has proved communication(connection) of weather and health was carried out(spent) and has started development of new discipline - to biometeorology. The science is called to study influence of weather on human life in a broad sense or more particularly - on his(its) health.

Scientists even more often accuse weather of development of the big number of illnesses, and researchers from Germany were in this sphere, certainly, leaders. Germans undertook the first attempts of creation of the centres which would be engaged not only forecasting of weather conditions, but also dispatch of the received information in hospitals and clinics. But the idea, unfortunately, has not got accustomed, the reason for that became, most likely, the post-war ruin reigned then in Germany. And only in two-thousand year in London the first-ever, high-grade, multipurpose organization of such structure was created. As the generator of idea of the given project has acted known scientific - klimatolog William Byord who during several years worked side by side with supernumeraries and epidemiologists from Oxford. Primary goal of the given centre is prevention as it is possible a lot of death, "sprovotsirovannyh" change of weather.

The essence of work of the centre is rather simple: the long-term forecast which further is sent in hospitals, clinics and other medical institutions where it(he) is hung out ten days prior to prospective weather changes first is done(made). Then heads of medical institutions estimate the opportunities, resources and give a guarantee of that can render the qualified help to people which, for example, had aggravation of illness at change of weather. The centre consists of eleven departments, each of which is engaged only in the concrete work. In this case at forecasting cool weather, with the raised(increased) humidity, the lowered pressure and a gusty wind, experts warn persons with an arthritis and rheumatism. These are typical meteochuvstvitel'nye diseases of which increase of a stupid(blunt), whining pain is typical at the given type of weather. The third department is engaged intimately - in vascular diseases. Their aggravations take place at decrease(reduction) of temperature, a gusty wind, sharp fluctuations of pressure.

Other structural units of the centre are necessary for a presence(finding) of communication(connection) between change of weather and infectious diseases, reflex activity of the person, decrease(reduction) of vigilance, a carelessness, mood, labour activity, sorts and other processes. Many European countries already plan to take advantage of experience britantsev and to construct similar meteotsentry at themselves, but, probably, it does not threaten Russia.
